Instructor: James Greenblatt, MD & Mariela Podolski, MD
Pediatricians and pediatric NPs are on the front lines of a mental health surge they weren’t necessarily trained for. As diagnoses of ADHD, anxiety, depression, autism, and behavioral disorders climb, these clinicians are picking up the slack left by a shortage of child psychiatrists—often becoming the default, ongoing caregiver for kids’ mental health needs.
That means managing psychiatric medications someone else started, sorting through a fast-growing menu of treatment options, and helping families navigate tough calls when a treatment stalls or symptoms shift. However, most pediatricians and NPs never got much training beyond “know when to refer.”
It doesn’t have to stay that way.
Dr. James Greenblatt and Dr. Mariela Podolski invite you to a webinar introducing Psychiatry Redefined’s Pediatric Functional & Integrative Psychiatry Fellowship—a program built to help pediatricians and pediatric NPs grow their skills and confidence through a personalized, whole-child model of mental healthcare.
Here’s what the webinar covers:
- Why more pediatricians and NPs are pursuing advanced training in Functional, Integrative, and Nutritional Psychiatry
- How the Fellowship builds on the care you already deliver, bringing whole-person, personalized medicine into children’s mental health
- The Fellowship curriculum itself—the biological, nutritional, environmental, metabolic, and lifestyle factors shaping mental health
- How the training tackles common conditions like ADHD, anxiety, depression, autism spectrum disorders, behavioral issues, eating disorders, and beyond
- How pediatric case consultations, mentorship, and clinical supervision build real confidence for handling complex patients
- Where thoughtful medication management fits into a broader, personalized care plan—knowing when meds make sense, how to fine-tune them, and how to pair them with evidence-based Functional Psychiatry techniques
Whether your goal is sharpening the support you give kids already on psychiatric care, or expanding your toolkit with gentler, root-cause approaches, this webinar breaks down the Fellowship so you can decide if it’s the right fit for your practice.
All registrants will receive a link to watch the webinar recording post-event. Please note: Email reminders and replays are undeliverable to general emails (such as support@, info@ or admin@). This webinar recording will be available free for live attendees; attendees will be sent the recording link post-event. This webinar will remain free for the general public.
