This training illuminates a path towards real, sustained recovery, and offers hands-on support to help you treat complex cases of OCD. Discover new functional interventions to move your patients from finding calm, to finally calm.
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) affects 1 in 40 people (2.3% of the population), impacting individuals universally. OCD’s effects can be profound, hindering productivity and fulfillment in life. Although traditional approaches to OCD, primarily centered around psychotherapy and medications, provide benefits to many patients, there is growing scientific and evidence-based research that supports that OCD often arises from discrete biological factors such as genetics, inflammation, gut dysbiosis, and more significantly, serotonergic dysfunction.

OCD Intensive Training Curriculum
Functional & Integrative Medicine for Anxiety (5.0 CME credits)
In this 4-module course for clinicians of all backgrounds, Dr. James Greenblatt provides a comprehensive evaluation of all the factors that lead to affective disorders. He reviews key nutrients associated with the symptoms of anxiety, plus relevant lab testing protocols and supplementation for treatment. Dr. Greenblatt then takes a deep-dive into the gut-mind connection and microbiome, along with contributing factors to folate deficiency, opioid peptides, systemic inflammation and nutritional deficiencies. He rounds out the course with a close look at sertonergic signaling, and functional and integrative treatments, including vitamin, amino acid, herbal and mineral supplementation, and lifestyle changes.
The Integrative Management of Stress and Anxiety: A Pragmatic Approach for Clinical Practice
In this three-part module course, Dr. Prousky makes a case for moderating stress and anxiety symptoms by using a pragmatic treatment philosophy – derived from contemporary stress and neurobiological research – to support enhanced clinical outcomes. Protocols to treat stress and common anxiety disorders will enable you to maximize therapeutic interventions for your patients. More specifically, he’ll cover contemporary stress research, emotional regulation, the brain mechanisms in anxiety, the neurobiology and therapeutic management of fear, and natural health products to facilitate allostasis and support neurobiological processes.
