Louis Cady, MD
Read Bio

Louis Cady, MD straddles the world between science and art. Trained first as a classical pianist, he obtained two degrees, with honors, from the Conservatory of Music of the University of Missouri at Kansas City, before obtaining his medical degree in 1989 from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. He then trained in psychiatry at the world-famous Mayo Clinic, beginning his practice of child, adolescent, adult, and forensic psychiatry in Evansville, Indiana in 1993. Dr. Cady’s main clinical focus is in helping patients achieve total wellness and optimum levels of performance through the integration of mind and body for peak performance, using all possible healing options in the scientific and medical literature, including nutritional supplements and hormonal optimization. Dr. Cady founded the Cady Wellness Institute, which opened in its new facilities in Evansville on July 1, 2005.

Dr. Daniel Dowd is Genomind’s Senior Vice President of Medical Affairs. His responsibilities at Genomind include building and managing a mental health medical affairs team of PharmDs and PhDs. Dr. Dowd is also intimately involved with product development, genetic research, medical education programs and pharmacy integrations. He is a PharmD licensed in New York and New Jersey and has over 15 years of unique experience across community pharmacy management, medical affairs and healthcare education. Prior to joining Genomind, Dr. Dowd held positions as district and regional director of community pharmacy training and operations for several pharmacies including Rite Aid and A&P. For 13 years, he also developed and taught advanced pharmacology courses at the City University of New York (CUNY). Dr. Dowd has published on the implementation of pharmacogenetics in psychiatry and has been interviewed by national media outlets, including Drug Topics, JAMA Medical News and Perspectives and the Dr. Oz show. He is a member of the Clinical Pharmacogenetics Implementation Consortium (CPIC) and the American Society of Pharmacovigilance STRIPE Collaborative Community. Dr. Dowd earned his PharmD from the Rutgers Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy.

Georgia Ede M.D. is a Harvard-trained, board-certified psychiatrist specializing in nutrition science, brain metabolism, and mental health. She speaks internationally on dietary approaches to psychiatric disorders, the nutritional differences between plant and animal foods, Alzheimer’s prevention and management strategies, nutrition science, and public nutrition policy reform. Dr. Ede writes about food and the brain for Psychology Today, DietDoctor.com, and her own website DiagnosisDiet.com. To improve access to metabolic psychiatry services around the world, she developed a CME-accredited clinician training program in ketogenic diets for mental health, a live, virtual, small-group course open to practitioners of all backgrounds.

A pioneer in the field of functional and integrative medicine, James Greenblatt, MD, has treated patients since 1988. After receiving his medical degree and completing his psychiatry residency at George Washington University, Dr. Greenblatt completed a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Johns Hopkins Medical School. He currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer at Walden Behavioral Care in Waltham, MA and an Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at Tufts University School of Medicine and Dartmouth College Geisel School of Medicine.

He is the author of seven books, including the best-seller, Finally Focused: The Breakthrough Natural Treatment Plan for ADHD. His latest book, Answers to Anorexia, was released in October 2021 and his newest book, Functional & Integrative Medicine for Antidepressant Withdrawal, is now available. He is the founder of Psychiatry Redefined, a platform dedicated to continuing online education in the evidence-based, personalized treatment of mental illness.

Nancy O'Hara MD
Nancy O’Hara, MD, MPH, FAAP

Dr. Nancy O’Hara is a board certified Pediatrician. Prior to her medical career, Dr. O’Hara taught children with autism. She graduated with highest honors from Bryn Mawr College and as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. She earned a Master’s degree in Public Health from the University of Pittsburgh. After residency, chief residency and general pediatric fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh, Dr. O’ Hara entered general private practice in 1993, and in 1998 began her consultative, integrative practice solely for children with special needs. Since 1999 she has dedicated her functional medicine practice to the integrative and holistic care of children with chronic illness and neurodevelopmental disorders such as ADHD, PANDAS/PANS, OCD, Lyme and ASD. She is also a leader in the training of clinicians, both in the United States and abroad. Dr. O’Hara has written a comprehensive guidebook, “Demystifying PANS / PANDAS: A Functional Medicine Desktop Reference on Basal

Mariela Podolski is a psychiatrist with board certifications from ABPN in both Adult Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She is originally from Costa Rica, where she completed medical school at the Universidad de Costa Rica. She completed her residency training at the Institute of Living in Hartford, CT, and a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in Milwaukee, WI. Dr. Podolski has dedicated most of her career to working with eating disorder individuals. She currently works in private practice and provides consulting services to Walden Behavioral Care.
