Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) affects 1 in 40 people (2.3% of the population), impacting individuals universally. The effects of OCD can be profound, hindering productivity and fulfillment in life. While traditional approaches primarily center around psychotherapy and medications—providing benefits to many patients—there is growing scientific and evidence-based research demonstrating that anxiety disorders arise from discrete biological factors such as genetics, inflammation, gut dysbiosis, and more significantly, serotonergic dysfunction.

OCD Intensive Training Curriculum
Functional & Integrative Medicine for OCD Training Lectures
In these guided lectures, Dr. James Greenblatt provides a comprehensive evaluation of all the factors that lead to Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and other affective disorders. He reviews key nutrients associated with symptoms of OCD, plus relevant lab testing protocols and supplementation for treatment. Dr. Greenblatt then takes a deep-dive into the gut-mind connection and microbiome, along with contributing factors to folate deficiency, opioid peptides, systemic inflammation and nutritional deficiencies. He rounds out the course with a close look at sertonergic signaling, and functional and integrative treatments, including vitamin, amino acid, herbal and mineral supplementation, and lifestyle changes.
New Functional & Natural Strategies to Treat OCD Webinar
In this exclusive webinar, Dr. Greenblatt explores the biological triggers of OCD and reviews the nutritional intervention, inositol, for optimizing serotonin synthesis. Inositol is a B vitamin that plays vital roles in serotonin signaling and has demonstrated significant benefits for individuals struggling with OCD. Trainees will gain an expanded clinical toolkit and proven, evidence-based strategies for inositol supplementation to help optimize recovery and outcomes for OCD patients.
