Instructor: James Greenblatt, MD
ADHD is more than a classroom concern—it has serious real-world risks, especially on the road. Research shows that untreated ADHD significantly increases the risk of motor vehicle accidents, traffic violations, and substance-impaired driving, yet this critical aspect of ADHD is too often overlooked in traditional treatment models. In this timely Sunday webinar, psychiatrist and functional medicine pioneer James Greenblatt, MD, explores ADHD through a powerful new lens: the road safety implications of non-treatment. Clinicians will leave with practical functional strategies to improve patient focus–and reduce their risk both on and off the road.
Overview
ADHD is not a discipline problem. It is a medical condition with a range of possible underlying causes unique to each patient. It is a genetically-caused neurological disorder that can be controlled with medications. However, to really heal those with ADHD, there needs to be individualized treatment to correct the unique biologic imbalances that affect the brain and trigger symptoms.
In this FREE webinar, Dr. Greenblatt will examine the brain-based roots of impulsivity and risk-taking, discuss the debated role of medication, and introduce his Finally Focused Functional Medicine model. This evidence-based approach addresses the root causes of ADHD through nutritional, lifestyle, and targeted clinical interventions. Clinicians will leave with practical tools to reduce patient risk and improve outcomes—on and off the road.
And be sure to stick around post-presentation for a live attendee Q&A with Dr. Greenblatt to learn more about our Pediatric Fellowship in Functional Psychiatry—a comprehensive program that provides effective clinical protocols, testing methodologies, and interventions for pediatric mental health patients.
